The Old Coach House

The Old Coach House was originally part of the Bedale Hall Estate and was refurbished for a North Yorkshire developer who wished to renovate and sell the property. When we started work on this building it was a derelict commercial property and we applied for planning permission and Listed Buildings Consent to form a three-bedroom dwelling with a contemporary barn type interior.

We stripped the building to its brick shell, repointed the brickwork and removed ceilings to open up the roof area; installed internal pillars, insulation, new double-glazed wooden windows and beautiful oak floors with underfloor heating along with traditional stone floors in the bathroom.

We completed the project with exterior landscaping and carparking and the developer sold the property within three days of it arriving on the market.
